However, if you are a non-resident and are not qualified to gain medical registration in Australia, you might find it very difficult to cope with the red tape involved in getting a medical job in Australia obtaining the necessary medical registration and visa.

Step 1: Registering with Doctors Abroad and Obtaining a Position
Before you can obtain a position, you will need to register with Doctors Abroad Healthcare. Initially we will just require a copy of your current CV. If you are successful in obtaining a job, the facility may ask that you first complete an application form and/or complete a criminal history check form. We will provide you with the relevant documentation, followed by a letter of appointment from the facility.
Step 2: Medical Registration
Registration procedures differ depending on your experience and qualifications and whether you have been or are applying as a specialist, general practitioner or non-specialist. We will guide you through this process and provide you with the relevant information and application forms so you can gain registration to work in Australia.
