Doctors - Find doctor jobs in New Zealand
All overseas doctors who wish to work in NZ must obtain registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Doctors Abroad Healthcare cannot find you a position until you have established eligibility for registration. Visit mcnz.org.nz
If you plan to work in New Zealand as a doctor, you must have completed your internship year (or equivalent) and have at least two years experience thereafter. Ideally some of this experience has been in a comparable medical system such as the UK, Ireland, South Africa, Canada, US, Hong Kong, Australia or Singapore. Other IMG’s will be considered for medical jobs depending on their qualifications, specific skills and experience.
Candidates must have excellent references and will be obliged to undergo thorough background checks. You will also be required to meet the English language requirements (See www.ielts.org) for International Medical Graduates.
